I’m a documentary filmmaker based in Iceland, working as a cinematographer and producer across a wide range of projects—from quiet, character-driven stories to large-scale productions in unpredictable environments.

 

My path into filmmaking began early, driven by a fascination with visual storytelling and a curiosity about people and places beyond my own. Over the years, that curiosity has taken me across continents, into remote communities, and behind the scenes of moments both ordinary and extraordinary.

 

I’m drawn to stories rooted in real life—told with honesty, cinematic craft, and respect for those at the center. Whether working solo or as part of a team, I approach each project with a mix of discipline and openness, always looking to capture something true.

 

I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition as a filmmaker, but what matters most to me is the work itself—and the opportunity to collaborate with others who care deeply about what they’re making.
